Me, Myself, and I
Let's start from the beginning...
I was born in the "wild and wonderful" state of West Virginia and called it home for approximately fifteen years of my life. My family also lived in Delaware for seven years - it was there that I inherited the quirk of saying "soda" instead of "pop."
Penn State was my home for four years while I completed a Bachelor's degree in meteorology. Between classes and homework, I enjoyed playing sports with my friends. A Sunday afternoon football practice led me to meet my future husband, Andrew.
Within a time span of just a few weeks, Andy and I graduated from college, were married, and moved to North Carolina. We are still living in NC and share our home with our three dogs - Hank, Scout, and Max.
I have been employed as a veterinary technician since August 2004. This is truly a job where you learn something new every day - no two animals are the same!
Currently I'm searching for a job in web design and development. You can check out my portfolio to explore my previous projects.
I continue to be involved with Girl Scouts on a limited basis as part of a committee that runs activities including backpacking and hiking. Andy and I also keep busy with intramural soccer in the fall. Other than that, we spend our time around the house with the dogs or traveling to our families.
My other interests include inline skating, backpacking, cycling, and video games (especially the Halo and Guitar Hero series).
