This is Ford! He lived with us from June to October 2005. He was meant to be a permanent resident of the Freed household, but Scout enjoyed chasing him a little too much for us to feel safe for him. Ford was brought into my veterinary clinic with a nasty cut around his neck from a collar that was put on when he was a kitten and wasn't taken off as he grew. His name came from a character named Ford Prefect in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. His favorite pastimes were hitting Scout in the face with his (declawed) paws, sitting on furniture that he's not allowed on, eagerly anticipating meal time, and playing with his catnip toys. One of the adoption agencies helped us find him a new home, which we hope he is very happy in. (Click on any picture to enlarge it.)
